Marketing/Content Project Manager

Senior marketing/content project manager to join our team servicing a large tech client. This position will join our expanding team that services this engagement and will be well-supported by our marketing content team.

The PM will work closely with our client GTM team to manage traffic, work with stakeholders, and in general streamline efforts and expedite execution for marketing activities. The PM will interact with our team as well as manage other vendor teams.

This is a full-time employee position with Resources Online, not an outsource placement. Although this is a remote working opportunity, it is during Pacific Time Zone business hours every weekday. For this reason, we prefer candidates in or near the Pacific Time Zone.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT RESPONSIBILITIES

This PM will be responsible for managing marketing projects and deliverables supporting a lead GTM marketer as well as GTM leads in several specific product areas.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the team in end-to-end management execution of ongoing and ad-hoc marketing projects.
  • Maintain and manage bill of materials (BOM) production.
  • Establish and maintain processes for managing and prioritizing requests for existing and new marketing projects using development management tools. Projects may include managing production of customer newsletters and nurturing communications, case studies, marketing kits, and other new and recurring projects.
  • Manage traffic and cadence and successful execution of marketing deliverable projects, both ongoing and new. This will include developing project plans, managing project logistics, tasks, schedules, and resources.
  • Manage communications with internal stakeholders as well as external agencies working on each project. Oversee relationships to ensure that deliverables are completed with quality and on time.
  • Report on project deliverables, overall data across areas of responsibility, and progress.
  • Manage the BOM, including organizing production of new assets and maintaining existing assets. Coordinate with stakeholders and external agencies. BOM includes assets such as templates, white papers and other documents, email and other communications, web copy and other assets.
  • Manage publication of marketing assets, requiring coordination with web and blog teams, field marketer, and translation coordination.

EXPERIENCE HIGHLY DESIRED

  • Experience using Azure DevOps, Teams, SharePoint and other Microsoft Office and collaboration tools. Project management tools such as Project, Jira, and others highly useful.
  • Experience creating/managing creation of learning content for technical audiences, including managing handoffs to creators (internal and external) and review of in-progress work product.
  • Editorial experience (creating or managing creation) of content assets such as white papers, solution papers, PowerPoint decks, learner guides, email, templates, web content.
  • Web publication experience, specifically familiarity with the end-to-end processes in typical publication workflows.
  • Experience strategizing/creating/managing an overall content strategy and BOM.
  • Experience developing project plans, manage day-to-day project logistics, and define project tasks, timelines, resource requirements (as needed) to meet business requirements.
  • Experience managing outside agencies that contribute to/produce deliverables.
  • Experience and comfort with Windows ecosystem. We’ll provide equipment; you will not be using a Mac.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 5-7 years of experience as a PM, experience to include defining, developing, executing, running, and monitoring a program.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Strong cross-group collaboration skills, able to work with stakeholders, agencies, program teams, and our team.
  • Experience owning and managing end-to-end multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
  • Able to wrangle stakeholders, get them onboard and keep them on course.
  • Work experience in a large corporate/technical setting is helpful but not a requirement for this role.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required to coordinate across the team, motivate and collaborate with stakeholders and ultimately maximize deliverables output.
  • Produce positive results in a high-pressure environment.

  • Recognize areas to increase efficiency and contribute with solutions.
