HP Press needed to standardize and streamline the authoring and publication process for its books. The company wanted to enable its subject matter experts and authors to focus on the content, leaving the publishing details to a capable team that could ensure timely completion.

Resources Online took on the project management tasks for this series of HP publications, developing processes, templates, author instructions, standards, and editorial and production guidelines. We worked with writers, editors, designers, and other vendors to produce the books on time and on budget. We also provided editing services to ensure consistency, and we formatted the text and graphics to enable both print and online publication from a single source. Over the past three years, Resources Online has produced 17 books and high-quality e-publications for this project, and we continue to produce new HP books on a regular basis.
